The author:
Markus Vahlefeld, born in Hong Kong in 1966, German-British, grew up in Hamburg, graduated from high school in Washington, D.C., studied philosophy in Bonn, Berlin and Barcelona. His book „Mal eben kurz die Welt retten“, published in 2017, became a bestseller. This was followed in 2018 by „Macht hoch die Tür - Das System Merkel und die Spaltung Deutschlands“. In addition to his work as an essayist and political commentator (permanent author on Achse des Guten, achgut.com), Vahlefeld produces the weekly gourmet programme „Leib und Speise“ on KONTRAFUNK.
