Speaker: Claudio Zanetti

Citizens often feel marginalised by our representative democracy when it comes to important decisions. Can referendums help to increase acceptance for projects and government action? In Switzerland, referendums have been held at all political levels for centuries.

Former Swiss National Councillor Claudio Zanetti draws on his own experience to explain the impact of referendums on politics and society.

Claudio Zanetti is a Swiss politician. He is a member of the Swiss People's Party and was a member of the National Council from 2015 to 2019. After studying law, he worked as a PR consultant for various companies, including the Swiss Association of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Industries (VSM). Today, he runs the PR agency 9G Werkstatt AG together with a German partner.

The conference fee is €15.
