Why Elon Musk will shape humanity's development like no one before him – Part 3

Why Elon Musk will shape humanity's development like no one before him – Part 3

The Musk Universe Behind all the inventions and developments of the future outlined in the previous part of this series of articles, there is one person pulling the strings: Elon Musk. Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, X – Mr Musk has built an empire out of many individual components that originally seemed unrelated. But now it is time to take a look at the blueprint for the Musk empire in its entirety. The following graphic illustrates the various business areas. If you look at the individual business areas of the Musk empire, you will notice similarities with the ten most important inventions of the future presented in part 2. In other words, you will notice that Musk is involved in virtually all essential business areas of the future, and dominates most of them. Mobility, energy, payment, communication, social identity and, in the distant future, even mind control – this is not just a technical ecosystem. It is the cornerstone of absolute dominance in the future.

The Musk universe

When it comes to the inventions and developments of the future outlined in part 2 of this series of articles, one person is pulling all the strings: Elon Musk. Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, X – Mr Musk has built an empire out of many individual components that originally appeared to have no connection to one another.

Mobility, energy, payment, communication, social identity and, in the distant future, even mind control. – this is not just a technical ecosystem. It is the cornerstone of absolute dominance in the future.

We would like to explain this in more detail using an example:

Elon Musk's orbit strategy: „He who owns the sky also owns everything beneath it.“

Of the approximately 13,000 satellites currently in space, Elon Musk's STARLINK accounts for around 8,000. That corresponds to about 62 %, and the trend is continuing to rise. Around 250 are currently being added each month. Musk ultimately wants to place 30,000 or more satellites in orbit. Exactly how many is something no one knows at present.

Elon Musk's calculation will inevitably pay off. With 30,000 satellites, the orbit is likely to be so cluttered that no other operator will be able to launch a significant fleet of satellites. Even today, spacecraft, e.g. on their way to the ISS, have to contend with a lot of space debris. However, the STARLINK satellites are small, manoeuvrable and can avoid space debris. This advantage is what makes such a high density of satellites possible in the first place.

STARLINK also promises a certain degree of Independence from ground stations, because the satellites can communicate with each other using laser technology. This is particularly relevant for covering large areas of the ocean or the poles. The signal is sent to the next satellite. Several „hops“ from satellite to satellite are also conceivable.

STARLINK already has several partners who can offer their customers global connectivity. These include T-Mobile USA. However, apart from Salt in Switzerland, there are no cooperation partners in Europe yet. Other partners include Optus in Australia, One NZ in New Zealand, Rogers in Canada and KDDI in Japan. The „STARLINK WorldNet“ is already taking shape.

Ultimately, the question arises: Was everyone else asleep? NASA, ESA, the Chinese, Russians, Indians – how can it be that Earth's orbit is left to a single monopolist?

Why does Elon Musk want to dominate space?

For example, STARLINK can offer fast, satellite-based internet worldwide. Currently, only around 60% of the world's population has access to the internet. 40% are left out. Satellite-based internet is also much more stable than that provided by radio masts. Telephony without annoying dead spots is also a highly desirable feature. In the event of natural disasters, such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes or floods, radio masts are often torn down or telephone services collapse completely. Satellites in space are not affected by this. Especially in the event of disasters, the internet and telephone services are very important for quickly organising help for people.

A comprehensive satellite network is also of inestimable importance in military terms. Take the Taurus cruise missiles, for example. Even if the new German government wanted to deliver them to other countries, they would not be able to take off without Musk's blessing, because the missiles need to be controlled via satellite – i.e. via STARLINK.

This is just one facet of the Musk universe. However, the author of this article believes that there must be much more behind Elon Musk's plans. If, in the future, the whole of humanity could have access to the blessings of technological progress, how would billions of people be able to enjoy these technologies? Conventional smartphones are far from being able to combine all the technologies that Elon Musk has perfected.

You need a new type of device that provides access to the individual components of the Musk empire. A connecting element that links and assembles the pieces of the puzzle. Something that can do much more than today's smartphones. Does Elon Musk already have it in his drawer? Is it the legendary Tesla Pi Phone? The new flying, egg-laying wool-milk sow of the 21st century?

What would such a „communicator“ need to be able to do?

The communicator of tomorrow – Musk's key to the human interface

These functions are not science fiction, but can be logically derived from Musk's technologies:

  1. Universal, satellite-based connectivity
Works all over the world – No SIM card, no network gaps, even in Antarctica or the jungle. Reception directly via STARLINK – no radio masts, no providers, no intermediaries.
  2. Self-sufficient energy supply
Integrated micro solar cells, ultra-lightweight batteries, inductive charging – or energy synchronisation with Tesla products such as Powerwalls or solar roofs.
  3. Multimodal interaction
Speech, touch, gestures, facial expression analysis, context understanding, emotion recognition – adapted to culture, personality and environment. Naturally with AI language model on board.
  4. Biointerface (step by step)
Starting with biometric binding (not transferable to other persons, therefore theft-proof), later, if necessary, via neural interface (Neuralink light) – for control, but also as an identity carrier.
  5. Finance and Authentication Centre
Wallet, identification, keys – integrated with X.com / Xpay, Without banks, without third parties. Purchases, travel, contracts, even elections – all via the communicator.
  6. Control of networked systems
Tesla car, TeslaBot, SmartHome, energy management, security solutions, health tracking – all controllable via the communicator. A central control centre for all everyday tasks.
  7. Decentralised identity & security
Cryptographically secured, with fallback systems – the digital twin can be reconstructed at any time, but cannot be stolen. Backup on orbital servers.
  8. Intelligent learning and coaching function
A learning companion who knows their personal goals, motivates, provides knowledge – tailored to individual lives. Including personalised recommendations, reminders, scheduling, health coaching, etc.
  9. Personal AI instance with potential for consciousness
„Your communicator gets to know you“, develops a relationship with the user, knows you better than anyone else – because it grows with you.
  10. Real-time human interface
Live translation, real-time dialogue with people worldwide, automatic moderation, protection against manipulation – and new forms of global cooperation.

The communicator is not a device in the traditional sense – it is an extension of the self.

What Musk could build is not simply a smartphone clone.
It is a Interface between humans and the future.
A tool that at some point is no longer a tool, but rather Extension of one's own identity.

Elon Musk's companies are not a random collection of future technologies.
You are an organic network, which works towards one goal:

  • STARLINK: global connectivity without restrictions
  • Tesla: Mobility as electricity and data flows
  • Neuralink: Interface between biology and code
  • X (formerly Twitter): social space, without boundaries
  • X-AI (Grok) as a link to AI (Here, in the author's view, Musk made a tactical error by leaving OpenAI. As a founding member, he would have had every opportunity to be at the forefront.)
  • X.com / XPay: new monetary logic (Note: Elon Musk, along with Peter Thiel, Luke Nosek and Max Levchin, was one of the founders of X.com, an online payment service that was later renamed PayPal. He has since sold his shares.)
  • TeslaBot Optimus: as a physical interface for automation in everyday life.
  • Tesla Energy: the sun as the new global currency

What is missing is the personal access point on top of all that: The communicator.

Of course, we don't know whether Musk is already working on such a vision. But he could be. And if someone thinks as networked as he does, then it can be assumed that he has long since realised that one piece of the puzzle is still missing – a universal communicator.

There are many rumours surrounding the so-called „Tesla Pi Phone“, but no official confirmation from Tesla or Elon Musk himself. In interviews, Musk has emphasised that Tesla currently has no plans to develop a smartphone unless there are compelling reasons to do so, such as restrictive measures by Apple or Google. Plans for a smartphone may not be in the works, but that's not what this is about anyway.

It is actually inevitable that Musk will launch such a device in the future, namely when it becomes necessary to realise his vision of a networked, technologically advanced society. Why else would anyone launch thousands upon thousands of satellites into space?

This would effectively pull the plug on Apple and others, as no one would buy an iPhone or Samsung mobile phone anymore. And it would be an incredible marketing driver for Tesla vehicles, charging infrastructure, solar solutions, robotics, social networks and the integration of artificial intelligence.

Conclusion:

We will not stop the future. And if it is not Elon Musk who realises this vision, then someone else will. Because it has to be done.

A new type of communicator for humanity is not science fiction.
It is the inevitable result of the vision that Elon Musk has been pursuing for decades.
It is the window to a new chapter in human history.
A new chapter: Power through networking.
A chapter that might begin with a single word: NOW
