Dear readers,
Our Desiderius Erasmus Foundation is still being denied the funding it is entitled to from the federal government. Despite the ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court in 2023, according to which we have been entitled to this funding since 2019, we have not received a single euro. Democracy and the rule of law are increasingly being eroded.
If Hungary or Poland were to treat legitimate opposition forces in this way, there would be a huge outcry, particularly in Germany. However, we will not allow ourselves to be deterred by this.
and continue to carry out our tasks on a voluntary basis.

As Germany's only conservative political foundation and educational institution, we are committed to the future of our country through seminars and lectures. We stand for democracy, the rule of law and freedom of expression. But we also stand for Germany's future as a nation. We want to not only preserve the cultural identity of our country with its conservative roots, but also regain it. We view the ever-accelerating decline of democratic freedoms with concern. We are counteracting this with our commitment. You can help too!
